Since we are travelling with senior adults, it was a nice thing that the seats assigned in the train were generally lower birth. The only issue was that we were assigned two different trains to travel on, but it was fine because we were given a nicer rail and cab from Jammu to Katra.

I went for the Vaishno devi darshan by helicopter using the service for the first time ever in my life. Not only was the ride to the shrine quick, but also exciting. I could easily enjoy the beautiful aerial view from the helicopter. The ride took about a total of ten minutes from the Katra helipad to the Sanji Chhat helipad, after which we had to walk it up a bit to reach the shrine.
